Entry #10: The King to Rule All the Koopas

Image
When someone thinks, "Video Game Villain," most people think of Bowser, the King of the Koopas, the main villain of the Super Mario series. Bowser is iconic, fun, powerful, a true final boss. One that always has a new trick up their sleeves, one that's constantly trying new things. Bowser has been in several forms of Mario Media, but each time there's a different take to him. Sometimes he's a moustache twiddling villain, sometimes he's a hopeless romantic, sometimes he's a respected king, sometimes he's a comical king, and sometimes he's Jack Black. But which of these is the best interpretation of Bowser? Well, that's up to you, but here's my two sense on the matter.      Bowser sending off some Goombas to attack a foe: ( https://www.kotaku.com.au/2019/01/bowsers-inside-story-holds-up-nicely-10-years-later/ )     First things first, King Koopa from the live action Mario movie is definitely not winning. He's just.... weird beyond b

Entry #9: Poison is less Toxic

Image
When I think of Social Media, I think of Poison Dart Frogs. Sure, they look like normal frogs, but when you touch them, you get poisoned. Does that mean that anyone who goes on Social Media needs to immediately head to the hospital? Well, maybe not an actual hospital but that is besides the point. Social media is quite an... interesting place that I tend to avoid. Many people find it strange, but I like to think it is for the best. So what do I mean by Social Media being like Poison Dart Frogs? Why do I not like Social media? Well, allow me to explain with a simple picture. Mr. Beast getting backlash for helping the poor on Twitter: ( https://twitter.com/Dexerto/status/1656669124452556806 )               This is exactly why I hate social media. People get mad over the smallest of things. In this case, he was literally helping people in need. How are people mad at this? Seriously, say what you want about Mr. Beast, but you cannot under any circumstances be mad at him for dona

Entry #8: Bring Back the Brothers!

Image
It's safe to say that everyone knows who Mario is, he's everywhere! He has all types of games like 2D platformers, 3D platformers, racing games, party games, and even Tetris like games. Though one of the most underrated types of Mario games is easily the rpg games. These games, from all the experience I have playing them, are amazing games. They're fun, funny, challenging, sometimes dark, and overall a great experience. There are 3 types: Mario rps, Mario and Luigi rpgs, and Paper Mario rpgs. Out of these three, my favorite is the Mario and Luigi series. Growing up, I had Mario and Luigi: Dream Team on the 3DS, and it was easily the best time of my life growing up. The music, the art style, the humor, it was all fantastic. However, there hasn't been a new Mario and Luigi game since 2019, and with the bankruptcy of AlphaDream, the developers of the Mario and Luigi series, things are looking bleak for Mario and Luigi fans. Is there any hope? Scene from the Mario Movie

Entry #7: #Outdated..?

Image
Are hashtags outdated? A question that I do not see many people asking, but one that is definitely worth asking. Regardless of the generation that the person may have come from, the hashtag will always have some kind of importance, despite the varying degrees of cultural impact between generations. When someone asks, "Are hashtags outdated," it is important to look at it through all angles between each generation and its usage.     When people think of, "Hashtags," the first thing many may think of are in slang. People, especially on social media platforms will use hashtags to emphasize an idea. For example, people would say things like, "#swag" to emphasize how cool they are or how cool something they did is or "#sad" to emphasize how sad someone felt. These were commonly used during the early 2010's, but this use has died down into an outdated fad. At least, for everything except social media. Nowadays, hashtags are used in the same w
